


| Granville County is located in the North Carolina's Northeast Piedmont Region or the upper Piedmont plateau. It encompasses the cities of Creedmoor, Oxford, Butner, Stem and Stovall. It covers 536 square miles at an average elevation of 476 feet. Granville County is bordered by Vance County to the east, Franklin County to the southeast, Wake County to the south, Durham County to the southwest, Person County to the west and Virginia to the north.
